Memorial Day Weekend Camp

If you are interested in participating with the Cascades in 2013, plan on attending the May 24-27 Camp where you can find out all you need to know about the upcoming season.

Our members are working very hard and going great thing, but we still have several positions in the corps up available in the following sections:

• Brassline (all sections)
• Guard (all sections)
• Cymbal Line (1)
• Marimba (1)
• Vibes (1)
• Synth (1)
• Multi-Percussion Rack (2)

Prospective members will be introduced to the 2013 staff, get a sneak peek into the instructional and technique programs of each caption and gain valuable drum corps experience in an overnight stay at a northwestern school.

Come visit us on Saturday, March 16th at the NWPA Winter Guard Competition at Kamiak HS* in Mukilteo! We will have a booth at the event, so if you're looking for a place to march this summer or just want to find out more about the Cascades, this is the place to do it!

The competition begins at 12:00pm and will last until 8:30pm. See you all there!!!

February Camp Information

If you are interested in participating with the Cascades in 2013, plan on attending the February Audition Camp where you can find out all you need to know about the upcoming season. Several spots within the corps were contracted at our recent January camp, however, there are still several positions in the corps up for grabs to the most qualified candidates.

Prospective members will be introduced to the 2013 staff, get a sneak peek into the instructional and technique programs of each caption and gain valuable drum corps experience in an overnight stay at a northwestern school.

Colorguard Staff Announcement

The Cascades are proud to announce their 2013 Colorguard staff!

"I'm really happy to have put together a staff (many of which I've worked with here in the northwest) that understands our process and personality, and newer staff from outside the NW with unique perspectives and skills to bring to the table" says Colorguard Caption Head Jon Brown. "This group of instructors brings the perfect mix of energy and experience to the Cascades. They are all passionate educators and I can't wait to put our students in their capable hands."

Drum Major Announcement

Cascades are pleased to announce their 2013 Drum Majors: Michael Tran and Jared St. Clair.

"We are incredibly pleased to have such high-quality individuals with a wealth of drum corps experience and knowledge," said Program Coordinator, Nick Benson.

New Camp Forms Are Up

If you attended the Open House in November and turned in an Open House Registration Form and ER Auth & Health History Form, you do not need to complete new ones. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian MUST sign the Camps Permission Form for 2013 that allows you to attend the winter camps.

If this is the first camp you are attending, you must complete all three forms: Camp Registration, Camps Permission (over the age of 18, just complete the bottom portion) Emergency Medical Authoriation & Health History form.
